Whiskers, Tails & Scales, provides professional pet transportation for (whiskers) cats, (tails) dogs, (scales) reptiles, also those in between (birds & small pets). We safely relocate your pet to its destination via ground or air transportation nationwide. We also do International Transport via air & Boarding.
Transportation
The care services that come along with the transport (i.e. stopping every 3-5 hrs., providing pictures and video updates, feeding, changing their wee-wee pads and/or walking, (depending on age) cleaning up vomit if he/she gets car sick, making sure they stay hydrated while on their travel(s), and most of all, human interaction and love to make it less traumatizing on them.
Some fur-babies do get car sick, vomit, urine and bowel movement clean-ups are essential. When those stops are performed before the 3-5 hr stops, you will also get a Pupdate with reason for stop (i.e. bowel movement, vomit, urination along with a picture)
We supply wee wee pads, poopy bags, blankets, pillows, wipes, filtered water, food (but recommend familiar food to them to be sent along with travel), harnesses, leashes and seatbelts (USDA regulations require all pets in a crate during travel), treats (if approved by breeder and/or client) You are more than welcome to provide these items along with your pet(s) for their travel also.
Boarding
We are registered with the Georgia Department of Agriculture Animal Protection Division. We can house up to 20 animals at a time for boardinng. Boarding is $50.00 per day. We can supply the food or you can. (We prefer you supply the food your fur-baby is accustomed to eating). There are camera's for each bay that you will be able to log-on to and view your fur-baby. Your fur-baby will be fed 2-3 times a day and/or free fed (according to your instructions). We provide bone marrow bones from our local butcher, unliimited water supply, daily wals, rubs, cuddles, toys and play time.
For other fur-baby(s), purr-baby(s) or Scaley-Baby(s)...inquire within for rates.
Upon pick up. You will receive a GPS link to track our travels. I use WAZE But should any app issues arise, I also use Google Maps, Apple Maps and Life 360. So we are never out of touch.
I am very particular with all pets I transport. All crates are sanitized after every use. I take strict care in maintaining cleanliness to prevent Canine Parvovirus, E.coli among bacteria, viruses and contamination. Our veterinary approved disinfectant is an EPA approved hospital grade cleaner. It is used in many of the world’s leading veterinary hospitals and zoological institutions as well as by leading reptile, avian and exotic pet breeders and keepers.

I have a "No Paws On The Ground" (NPOG) policy. Puppies 4 months and younger or that have not had their final booster will not be allowed to be walked, placed on the ground or grass. I am protecting your client’s pet from picking up dirt, bacteria, or any chemicals that might be on the ground or in the grass. I understand that some pets may not be fully vaccinated or may have a compromised immune system. Vets recommend waiting until 10-14 days after their puppy's last vaccination booster, usually when their puppy is 14-16 weeks old. I abide by this known rule that veterinarians and I am sure you yourself recommend.
